What Did Your Donation Pay For?

9 Aug

Today, the Jernigan Foundation received a thank you letter in the mail on behalf of the KMT team. The letter thanked the Jernigan foundation and all those who donated their time, effort and money in support of the $20,000 raised for the victims of the Joplin Tornado. In addition, the letter described the following items that the $20,000 donation and moral support provided:

  • Temporary Housing
  • Auto Rental
  • Residential Clean-Up
  • General Living Expenses
  • Food
  • Clothing
  • Funeral costs for the dear spouse of one of KMT’s team members
  • And last but not least, HOPE IN THE HUMAN SPIRIT

In closing, the letter read, “words alone really cannot describe how thankful our whole team is to you and others that may have also helped you with your support.”

Also enclosed in the letter were copies of personal notes from those people directly effected by the Joplin Tornado. Please see the following attachment to read the full letter and personal notes: Personal KMT Thank You Notes

DTI and the Jernigan Foundation would like to again thank everyone for your generous donations! After a recent visit to Joplin and KMT’s facility, we were greatly touched to hear the amazing stories and most of all the reconfirmed faith in the human spirit!

“We Love Joplin” Tornado Relief Fund: Grand Total Check Presentation

23 Jul

Dear Friends,

As most of you know, on July 2nd, 2011 The Jernigan Foundation with the help of Diamond Technologies, Inc., H2O Jet and many caring volunteers held a Benefit Concert in hopes of raising money for our friends at KMT left victim to the Joplin, Missouri Tornado.

Today I am proud to announce that we have raised a total of $7,800.00 with donations at the event, t-shirt sales, raffle tickets and online donations!!!

In addition, H2O Jet generously contributed the remaining amount to reach the $10,000.00 mark.

After matching the total $10,000.00 raised, The Jernigan Foundation is honored to present the KMT families affected by the Joplin Tornado with a giant check for a grand total of $20,000.00!!!!

We are all amazed and humbled at the amount of generous friends, family and even strangers who contributed their time, money and musical talents in support of this cause. Just a few weeks ago this event was nothing but a small idea from a concerned individual who thought we should do something to help. Not only did that idea raise $20,000.00 to help pick up the pieces of this terrible natural disaster, but it also brought a community of people from many walks of life together for a wonderful day of music, food and fun!

We would like to again thank everyone for your  generous support for this event, as our incredible results would not have been possible without it!!

Local Auction To Help Kids

6 May

Last Saturday, DTI had the unique privilege and honor to partner with the Jernigan Foundation to sponser the ECS Visions auction.  The auction, which aided a local school, brought together a new network of local businesses and individuals who all wanted to pour into this cause.  As we watched all of the attendees move about the room, united under the same motivation, we couldn’t help but feel the spark of the future and the hope for our local kids.

Ruby/Sapphire Orifices vs. Diamonds

3 Feb

There is a common misconception in the water jet world that sapphire and ruby orifices are cheaper than diamonds. But in the long run, diamonds are actually less expensive due to reduced downtime and costs due to blown sapphire and ruby orifices. Click here  for the true costs. Please rest assured, the facts speak for themselves.  (Thank you RPT for doing all the number crunching)
